With around 68 hectares of cultural lands, 32 hectares of forest and an alp in the Toggenburg for the summer grazing of the beef cattle, it is one of the largest estates in the canton. The requirements are thus met for being able to make an important contribution to the self-proficiency in line with the monasterial tradition. The varied culture plans shows 25 ha open agricultural land, 30 hectares of meadows and pastures, 8 hectares of wine vines, 1 hectare of fruit and 2 hectares of hops. Our cultures are managed strictly according to the guidelines of ‘integrated production’ in an environmental manner. Our stables are deemed to be particularly animal-friendly and meet strict controls with regard to labelling and quality assurance at all times.

The grapes from the vineyards are turned into superb wines in the estate's own wine cellar and the farm's own milk is processed into different milk and cheese specialities in the farm's dairy.
