Arrival by bus or train - our recommendation
By train to Frauenfeld and then by post bus (course 819, exit station from square N) every hour directly to Kartause Ittingen. Another possibility is the stop Warth Gemeindehaus, with a short walk to us. The best connections can be found at www.sbb.ch.
How to reach us by car
Motorway A7, exit Frauenfeld-West, 4.5 km follow the brown signs "Kartause Ittingen". We have free parking and two charging stations for electric cars.
Arrival for hotel guests
The area of the Kartause Ittingen is car-free, so that you can enjoy your stay with us in peace. Luggage trolleys are available for free use in our free, spacious parking lot. You can use them if necessary and leave them at the guesthouse for return.
Wheelchair accessibility
Kartause Ittingen is easily accessible by wheelchair. The parking spaces for the disabled in our car park are marked. The restaurant and the monastery shop are wheelchair accessible. We also have wheelchair-accessible public toilets and hotel rooms with accessible showers. The entrances to the IV rooms are at ground level.
The museums are also wheelchair-accessible - please register wheelchair users at the museum box office (or in advance by telephone on T 058 345 10 60) so that ramps can be laid in the historic museum premises.
