For an enriching group experience, book any of our attractive offers in and around the idyllic and unspoilt nature at Kartause Ittingen, or take a fascinating tour of the authentically preserved monastery.

Make your own cheese under the supervision of our master cheese maker or enjoy a home made fondue at the edge of the forest – these are experiences you will never forget.
On the Trails of the Carthusian Monks will take you on a tour of the historic monastery grounds affording a glimpse of the carefully renovated Baroque church, the refectory and the austere monk cells. You will have a great time with your group experiencing monastic life up close and personal.
Or would you prefer to uncover the secrets of the wine cellar with our cellar master and taste some great wines?
For smaller groups of 3 to 12 people, we can also highly recommend Ittingen scavenger hunt. It is a fabulous opportunity to build team spirit whilst exploring the beauty of the former monastery in a fun way.

Ittingen Scavenger Hunt
A sixty-minute or so discovery tour, Ittingen scavenger hunt will take you to various, partly hidden locations on the grounds from the farm estate to the yard and the gardens, the source, Jacob’s ladder, the museums and the pond. Use your powers of deduction to discover the former monastery’s hidden corners you would otherwise not get to see.
The scavenger hunt is ideal for groups of 3 to 12 persons. Pick up your map at the reception desk. If you want, we place a reward for the group at the finish.
Starting point: Ask for our scavenger hunt map at the reception desk and off you go!
Duration: Approximately one hour
Price: CHF7 a person, fixed price of CHF20 for families
