Around 100 hectares of land are used to grow and produce goods that end up in the kitchen or the monastery shop, either directly or after refinement by our producers. Delicious and local!
Our zero-kilometre menus are an important step towards regionality and reducing CO2 emissions. We are proud of our products, which are of the highest quality and as fresh as can be. The distance from the milking parlour to the farm's own cheese dairy is less than 300 metres. Our kitchen is just a stone's throw away from the herb garden, and the vineyards surrounding the former monastery provide an ideal environment for the grapes.
