Art Garden Hotels


As part of the first edition of the Art Garten Hotels, organized by the Verein Garten Hotels Schweiz in collaboration with the Kartause Ittingen Foundation and the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, three sculptures by Etienne Krähenbühl will be on display from April to November 2026.

‘Bing-Bang Bois’ is a kinetic sculpture by Étienne Krähenbühl. It is constructed as a large, open sphere made of wood and metal. Located in the courtyard of the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, it reacts to touch and wind movement, changing its shape and producing different sounds. This allows visitors to experience movement, resonance and space through their senses.
