The largest collection of historic rose varieties in Switzerland continues to fascinate visitors year after year.

In early summer, over 250 rose varieties, mostly historic, transform Kartause Ittingen into a romantic floral wonderland. With the help of the book "Die Rosen der Kartause Ittingen" (The Roses of Kartause Ittingen), a stroll through the gardens becomes an enchanting journey into the history of roses and the art of Ittingen.
