Holidays in the Monk's Cell

Staying in a historic building, such as a former monk's cell, offers an authentic experience in a unique historical setting. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Where Carthusian monks once lived as 'hermits in the community', we now offer a unique holiday experience. Experience a holiday "like in the old days" in a former monk's cell, complete with modern comforts and a hearty breakfast. In this gently renovated, simply furnished hermitage, you can experience monastic life first-hand. The deliberate reduction in furnishings is reminiscent of the solitary, quiet life of the Carthusian monks, creating the true luxury of peace and quiet, and providing opportunities for retreat. A small private garden in front of the hermitage is the perfect place to relax.
