Make a donation
By donating to the Kartause Ittingen Foundation, you are helping to preserve the historic architecture of the monastery complex. Your support will help finance upcoming roof repairs and ensure that this special place is preserved for future generations.
Working Together to Preserve Historic Roofs
The roofs protect the historic buildings and everything they contain: culture, history, community and social participation.
Extensive renovation work is planned for the coming years. Despite the revenue generated by our own operations, there is an annual shortfall of around 250,000 Swiss francs to cover these costs. Private donations help to bridge this funding gap, ensuring that the necessary work is carried out to a high standard. With a donation of just 350 Swiss francs, we can renovate one square metre of roof area.
