Three days of intensive learning and focused practice in turning will noticeably improve your skills. We will guide you through each step of the process, showing you every move involved in throwing and finishing your piece. You will spend three days with us at Kartause Ittingen, working in our pottery studio which is located within a historic hermitage surrounded by beautiful buildings, gardens, and nature. This course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students, and runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for three days.

This includes a two-course vegetarian lunch at Restaurant Mühle.

Materials for practising are also included. We will also glaze and fire your two best pieces.

Additional pieces can be glazed and fired by us for an extra charge. Alternatively, you can glaze your ceramics yourself on a glazing day at our pottery studio. If you have your own kiln, you can take your finished pieces home with you.
