Monks have lived in this historic place for around 700 years, most recently Carthusians. There are two museums just waiting to be discovered by you. Immerse yourself in history and follow in the monks' footsteps: explore the fascinating past at the Ittinger Museum and the world of contemporary art at the Art Museum.

What is all included in the package?
Stay for two nights in one of our unique hotel rooms and enjoy a generous Ittinger breakfast buffet featuring hearty produce from our own estate.
Aperitif with Ittinger Blütenzauber and herb almonds.
A 4-course menu (vegetarian or with fish, as the Carthusian monks used to eat) on the evening of your choice, featuring specialities from our market garden, cheese dairy, vineyard and farm.
Free admission to the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittingen Museum.
The 'Ittingen Walk' is an audio art installation and independent audio tour through the former monastery.
Use of the hotel's own bicycles.
